For over 15 years the GDMT has supported young pipers, pipe bands and other traditional musicians in accessing quality tuition and developing their compositions. In 2021 we reached the milestone of over £100,000 in donations to various good causes in traditional Scottish music. And by the end of 2024, we have sponsored 205 groups and individuals to the total amount of just over £148,841.

If you would like to make a donation to the Trust to help us further our aims, you can donate via one of our campaign options below, with payment by direct bank transfer (preferred) or credit/debit card via PayPal (you don’t need a PayPal account).  All donations are gratefully received.

The total of donations received in 2024 was £14,645.05p, an increase from £12,452 in 2023 and £12,139 in 2022.  Details are available in our annual reports.  We are grateful to all donors for their support of the Trust.
